The E500 swim spa system combines beautifully functional design with the innovative Endless Pools Swim Machine and optional treadmill for a variety of fitness options. The versatile Endless Pools® swim spa is built to provide a space where wellness goals are easily incorporated into your daily routine.
THE ORIGINAL ENDLESS POOLS® SWIM MACHINE
A custom-made, hydraulically powered propulsion system creates a laminar current of up to 5,000 gallons per minute (GPM) that is wider than your body and deeper than your stroke. Multiple conditioning grills smooth and redirects the water, resulting in a swim current that is free of turbulence. Swim Machine flow speed ranges from 5:00 to 1:08 minutes per 100 yards and can be easily adjusted for precise pace selection.
UNDERWATER TREADMILL
The optional Endless Pools hydraulically powered underwater treadmill offers low-impact running and walking options for all of the cardiovascular benefits of exertion without the negative side effects often felt with land-based exercise. Treadmill speeds vary from 0 – 5.5. MPH and can be combined with the swim current for increased resistance against core, leg, and upper body muscle groups.
SWIM SPA SEATING WITH HYDRO MASSAGE JETS
Following your workout, there is nothing like a “cool-down” in the comfort of spa seating here hydromassage jets soothe your muscles. Perfectly positioned in two captain’s chairs with pillows, plus a third middle seat, four jet types are combined in three configurations to deliver an ideal post-workout relaxation experience.
Mini Jet:
A small and focused stream of water targets specific areas.
Directional Jet:
Similar to the mini, the directional jet is focused but with a larger stream of water.
Rotary Jet:
The same level of water pressure as the directional jet, but rotates for a soft tissue massage covering a larger area.
Cluster Jet:
A unique soft tissue massage targets the lower back.
LED ILLUMINATION
The stunning lighting of Endless Pools Fitness Systems delivers maximum design impact. The blue LED Perimeter Illumination Bar provides visual appeal at night, while a 5” main interior light and multi-color LED points of light to provide ample brilliance and beauty. The three water features are also backlit for added elegance.
REMOTE CONTROL FOR SWIM MACHINE & UNDERWATER TREADMILL
The swim machine and underwater treadmill are each managed by individual remote controls that allow you to increase or decrease speed on the fly. The swim machine flow ranges from 5:00 to 1:08 minutes per 100 yards and can be easily adjusted for precise pace selection. The treadmill has a speed range of 0 to 5.5 MPH.
HYDRAULIC POWER UNIT
The Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) is the heart of the Endless Pools Fitness Systems. It pumps high-grade biodegradable vegetable oil to the underwater motor for both the swim machine and the treadmill. Swim spas with both a treadmill and swim machine contain a tandem HPU which is driven by an incredibly efficient 5HP motor. This design allows for maximum power while remaining energy efficient.
14-GAUGE STEEL FRAME & ABS BASE PAN
The E500 is built on an extremely durable, 14-gauge galvanized steel frame and ABS base pan. While many see this as an area to cut costs, Endless Pools went a cut above the rest by making this a standard feature. The structural elements of the steel frame and ABS base pan provide the ultimate strength to deliver confidence in ownership for years to come.
WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Endless Pools Fitness Systems feature a dual water purification system that combines Ultraviolet C (UVC) with eco-friendly CD Ozone, commonly known as Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP), to neutralize contaminants. The continuous water rotation from the circulation pump, coupled with 200 ft. of filtration, ensures ease of maintenance and water that is always exercise-ready. On the spa side, the CD Ozone keeps water fresh.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
On the swim side, the Tri-Thermic™ Barrier System, a standard feature, provides three layers of insulation to conserve heat, enhance energy efficiency, and lower operating costs. The system’s three layers include a three-quarter inch, two-pound density EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam and reflective film attached to the inside of the cabinet, combined with a two-inch thick heat blanket made of high-quality recycled textile fibers and foil film, attached on the inside of the steel frame. Together these materials provide maximum thermal performance.
The spa side has been fully foamed for heat retention and energy efficiency.
The E500 achieves certification to the current California Energy Commission (CEC) and APSP 14 National Standards and meets the 2018 CEC Standards.
CONTROL & AUXILIARY PANELS
Endless Pools Fitness Systems feature an LCD control panel that makes it easy to navigate component controls. Functions include on/off, water temperature, and water care management, as well as control of the interior lighting, and hydromassage jets.
Additionally, the fitness systems’ auxiliary control panel is located on the opposite side from the main panel for added convenience when controlling lighting and hydromassage jets.
Install the optional plug-and-play Gecko® In. Touch Wifi and Mobile App and you’ll gain full control of the system’s temperature, lights, and jets from any wifi-enabled tablet or mobile device, anywhere, anytime.
ANCHORS AND HANDRAILS FOR AQUATIC FITNESS ACCESSORIES
Every Fitness System is equipped with built-in anchors to attach fitness accessories including an optional swim tether, row bar set, and resistance bands. The convenient and sturdy handrails are also great for support or for attaching resistance bands.

ROW BAR KIT WITH RESISTANCE GEAR
Further the performance of any fitness system with the optional rowing resistance gear. Easily attach the optional row bars to the built-in anchors and/or handrails to get started on a low-impact, full-body workout. Rowing is so beneficial because it keeps the heart rate elevated and focuses on core strength. Attach resistance bands to the convenient and sturdy handrails for added workout options.
SWIM TETHER SET
All fitness systems come equipped with an anchor for attaching a swim tether, which is available as an optional accessory. It’s a must for beginning swimmers or for anyone looking to improve his or her swimming form, by adding further assistance.
PACE DISPLAYS
The optional pace display is a necessity for any swim machine and/or treadmill user. It allows for easy reading of the swim current pace and/or treadmill speed during exercise and can be toggled from meters to yards or viewed as a percentage, from 0 to 100, of the total output usage. It’s recommended that users have individual pace displays for their swim machine and treadmill to allow for use simultaneously.
WATKINS COVER & LIFTER
The Watkins bi-fold cover helps maintain heat and reduce evaporation. It can be used on its own or with the Watkins Lifter System. The Watkins Lifter System enables you to position the cover vertically.
VACUSEAL™ LIFTING SYSTEM
The VacuSeal Lifting System, consisting of two covers and two lifters, is ideal because of its unique design. VacuSeal perfectly seals both covers with its patented clamping system and allows for easy removal and replacement of the cover in one fluid motion, by one person. The benefits of VacuSeal include prevention of heat loss due to water entry and evaporation, as well as ease of removal and replacement of the covers that is unmatched by any other system.
UNDERWATER MIRROR
Swimmers can see themselves swim in place and critique their form using the optional 24” x 51” stainless steel mirror. It can be easily placed on the floor of any fitness system (not recommended for fitness systems with underwater treadmill installed) and its weight distribution ensures it stays in place.
BLUETOOTH®-ENABLED SOUND SYSTEM
For exercise or backyard enjoyment, nothing sets the mood like our optional, integrated 8-speaker system with subwoofer. It’s easy to set up; simply pair any Bluetooth-enabled device to the system through the control panel to stream music.
