Bond Widget

In January 2008, the NEC passed (680.26(C) requiring Pool Water to be bonded. The Bond Widget was developed in Chicopee, MA to solve this problem. The Bond Widget is a 4” by 1.5” hose adapter, This equils over 17″ Bonding the Water. The Bond Widget was designed for Above Ground pools but will also work on In-Ground pools.

The Bond Widget is made completely of Stainless Steel, so no corrosion problem from chlorine or other oxidizers will effect it performance.

The Bond Widget is placed in the front of the pool pump. The #8 copper ground wire is run from the Bond Widget to the Motor Ground then to the bottom track of the Above Ground pool (STEEL OR ALUMINUM POOLS).
